All day passes, membership fees and donations go toward keeping the Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity Centre (GNOAC) operating and growing. GNOAC is a charitable organization run by a dedicated group of volunteers.
Like you, our volunteers are outdoor enthusiasts who share a passion for exercise in nature. Through our chosen activities, which include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, cycling and paddling, we are lucky to experience the rugged and beautiful terrain the Georgian Bay region provides.
The foundation of Georgian Nordic is built on its cross-country ski heritage, which dates back to the early 1980s. In more recent years, we’ve collaborated with Get Outdoors Parry Sound, a volunteer group promoting cycling, hiking and other adventure sports in the area, to provide summer activities through the development of Georgian Nordic’s ever-expanding network of mountain-bike trails.
With more than 60 kilometres of combined ski, snowshoe, biking and hiking trails, there is something for everyone on our 800-acre property, which is made up of private and public lands.
