Mountain Biking at Georgian Nordic

The Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity Centre is the home of cross-country skiing in the Parry Sound area, but that’s just the start: it’s also a year-round destination for mountain biking.

In the summer, you can zip (or meander) down our ever-growing network of mountain-bike trails and if the snow is still flying, this is also the perfect place to hone your winter-riding skills on a fat bike.

A True Northern Experience—Just 2 Hours From Toronto

No matter your skill level, our summer mountain-biking trails have something for you. If you’re a beginner—or just looking to take in the beauty of our pristine Georgian Bay forest from your bike—try our wider doubletrack.

If you want a bigger challenge, we’ve got you covered there, too, with dozens of kilometres of tight, winding singletrack twisting and turning along the rugged Canadian Shield.

Georgian Nordic is the only place you can get this unique northern cycling experience within a stone’s throw of the GTA—at just a 90-minute drive from Barrie, we’re right on the city’s doorstep.

Your Trail Fees at Work

The dedicated team of volunteers at Get Outdoors Parry Sound take on the task of maintaining—and growing—the mountain-bike trails at the GNOAC. Thanks to their hard work, you can be sure your fees go straight into the trail network—and making sure your riding experience gets better every year.
